Episode 13 Is Up

And Darby's audio is fucking atrocious. Please spare us lectures about bandwidth and local recording, it was a hardware issue.

Podcast Problem update part 2

Okay, so on the testbed iPod, I went through and transcoded everything that had been crashing things as AAC to mp3. It took me a couple tries to get the settings down, so some of the files are a tad largish.

Anyway, the podcast feed is updated, the new files are on the site and a nice bug has been filed with Apple.

The transcoded episodes are:

20090317
20090414
20090421
20090512
20090519

Those were the ones that crashed my iPod, so those were the ones I could verify. (It's a fairly recent 80GB model)

Anyway, I'll be testing things with it before posting so if there's a problem, I can catch it before y'all do.

Podcast problem update

So it looks as though the problem may be with GarageBand's AAC output. Testing a second podcast as MP3. If it works, will transcode all of them. Joy
